Terrace Dashboard: Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This policy covers the Terrace Dashboard (the "App"), a private internal tool of Terrace Construction, Inc. ("Terrace"). The App is used only by Terrace.

2. What the App reads

With Terrace's permission, the App reads Terrace's own QuickBooks Online company data through Intuit's API: for example customers and jobs, chart of accounts and balances, and reports. It reads only; it does not change QuickBooks. It also reads the names and locations of Terrace's project folders in Terrace's own OneDrive.

3. Where the data is kept

The App runs on Terrace's own computer. What it reads is stored in a database on that computer. The sign-in tokens and the App's keys are stored encrypted on that computer and are never stored on this website. This website only forwards the browser back to the App after sign-in and keeps no data.

4. Who receives it

Terrace does not sell or rent this data, and does not share it with anyone outside Terrace except service providers Terrace itself uses to do its own work:

• Intuit (QuickBooks Online) and Microsoft (OneDrive), where the data already lives.
• Anthropic (Claude), an AI assistant Terrace uses to review and summarize Terrace's own information. When Terrace uses Claude with the App, the relevant QuickBooks information is sent to Anthropic to be processed for Terrace, under Anthropic's commercial terms.

5. Security

The App runs only on Terrace's computer and is not reachable from the internet. Sign-in tokens and keys are encrypted with the computer's user account protection. Access can be removed at any time by disconnecting the App in QuickBooks.

6. Retention

Data is kept for as long as Terrace uses the App for its business, and is deleted when Terrace stops using it.
